Playtech recently announced the launch of live gaming studios in Michigan and New Jersey.

Live casino gaming is one of the most popular categories offered by online casinos in the US as well as abroad. Players really enjoy the live content, as it allows them to play games like they would have a land based casinos. Gameplay takes place at a real table and live dealers are used to complete the steps of each game like blackjack and roulette. Playtech is a top software provider of gaming solutions for casinos and the company just recently announced the launch of its first live dealer studios in the US.

Michigan and New Jersey Launch

Playtech was able to secure approval for operation in New Jersey via the Division of Gaming Enforcement. The company partnered with bet365 many years ago and offers online gaming options via the brand for its online services in the Garden State.

The new studio is located in Atlantic City and the brand operates via the licensing secured by the Hard Rock Hotel and casino. With its partnership, Playtech has been able to enter markets where Bet365 is in operation, which includes several states in the US. Players have taken to the services and it has allowed the company to start setting up studios throughout the country.

In Michigan, the Gaming Control Board approved the brand for its studio launch, with Playtech now offering a studio outside the city of Detroit. The brand works with Parx interactive and offers live online gaming solutions for the provider. Parx works with the Gun Lake Band of Pottawatomi Indians to offer services in Michigan.

With the new studios, the operators in Michigan and New Jersey can utilize live dealer table games for their platforms. Bettors can experience the feeling of sitting at a real table game even though they are comfortable at home. The dealer completes the game actions in real time and bettors play along by watching streaming footage from the studio of game.

Playtech plans to offer its Quantum Roulette Arcade in Michigan and New Jersey, with modifications to the game for the US market. The goal is to create an arcade feeling with a traditional casino game. A unique aspect of this title is that it includes a double-zero table and includes a 1,000x multiplier!

In Michigan, players will have access to All Bets Blackjack, a game that offers unlimited number of players to participate at one table. There are plans to add even more games in the two states in the future.

Landmark Event

With Playtech launching in live studios in two different states, it marks a milestone for the company. It is a landmark event and the start of extreme growth for the brand as more states get in on the live dealer action.

According to Playtech Live Casino CEO Edo Haitin, there are plans to add to the content offered via the live gaming studios. The CEO feels the company will attract players with its ability to create customized experiences for bettors.

It will be interesting to see where the brand plans to go from here. There are other states that offer online casino gaming in the US including Pennsylvania and West Virginia. We could see Playtech expand its live studio installations into these two states as well, offering live dealer content specifically from new facilities in the states.

The growth of the company is a good sign that online gambling continues to expand in the US and hopefully we will see more of the same as we enter 2022.
