Caesars Entertainment to Host US-Based Job Fair

Caesars Entertainment

Caesars Entertainment needs hundreds of employees for its US-based businesses with a hiring event scheduled for later this month.

Caesars Entertainment is one of the largest casino gaming companies in the world, operating more than 50 locations in the United States. Because of its large offering, the company is now in need of more employees. There are currently hundreds of openings within Caesars and the brand is working on hosting a job fair later this month to fill the empty positions.

National Hiring Day Scheduled

On February 24, Caesars Entertainment will host its Caesars National Day of Hiring 2022. The company is reaching out to any individual in need of a new career. The available positions include entry-level options as well as executive roles within the company.

Senior vice president of human resources operations for Caesars, Matt Krystofiak, commented that the company has a variety of positions available for people who are looking to start their career with a leading entertainment and hospitality company based in the US.

The National Day of Hiring is being used by Caesars to bring awareness to its job push. The company is not only looking to hire individuals in Nevada, particularly Las Vegas, but also in 15 more states across the US.

Like other US-based companies, Caesars has struggled to re-fill positions that were cut off during the COVID-19 pandemic. When the pandemic first began, casinos were shut down completely. Some people decided to seek work elsewhere and their position was unfilled once the casino was back in business. Some people have been hesitant to re-enter the casino market for employment due to fear of being laid off or furloughed again.

Booming Business

Because residents in the United States were stuck at home for many months in 2020, last year was a rebirth for the casino industry. Record gaming revenues were earned in several states via commercial casino gaming facilities, including Nevada. Last year, the industry pulled in over $13 billion from land-based gaming.

The 2021 total was the all-time high for Nevada when it comes to gross gaming revenues. Strip casinos were able to generate over $7 billion, another record setting number. For Caesars, the brand is hoping to fill job openings it has on the Strip in order to meet customer demand.

The operator has eight casinos located on the Strip and will be hosting its hiring day at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Nevada on February 24. The event will begin at noon locally. Applicants can attend the event at the Rio or travel to the Harrah’s in Laughlin, the Circus Circus in Reno or Harveys in the Lake Tahoe area.

It will be interesting to see if the hiring push will bring in enough employees or if Caesars will have to continue with its hiring effort. The opportunities are there, it just boils down to if there is enough interest in the industry to fill all of the available positions.

Caesars should see a good turnout in several states as it hosts various hiring events. Aside from Nevada, the company has events planned in several states including Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

The company says that some positions will be offered on the spot, so applicants should come prepared with resumes and information on experience and skill levels. Caesars offers competitive wages plus quality health care and wellness plans, according to the operator. Perks and discounts are also offered to employees of the brand.
